2 months in Germany..

Well, has been 2 months since ive got here.. Time really flies huh? Have got accustomed slowly to being here, and figured out that there lies a rainbow after the storm. My storm would be the transition period, nostalgia etc. And now, the pressure of speaking good german is starting to mount up.. But nevertheless, im motivated to work hard to learn the language. I was in Hannover this Tuesday, well it’s a big city, one of the venues for the world cup. Anw, there were Asians all around, Chinese in particular, was gr8 to see that. There I visited a Chinese store.. The cashier was frm china, and I initiated a conversation… Just a normal conversation in Chinese (was good to be speaking Chinese again, though i think my accent has become a lil weird n rusty) blah blah blah.. There was an important phrase which kinda motivated me..
In chinese:-
Me: Wo zai de guo you jie jin liang ge yue le, ke shi wo jue de de yu ting nan de…
Cashier: (Smile) Yong xin qu xue bah..
May seem like just an ordinary conversation, but to me had quite an extent of motivation. J And that lady gave me 2 sets of CHINESE newspaper for free! Ok, I would confess here, back in msia, I seldom..ok, never, read the Chinese newspaper (perhaps that’s why I deserved a B for spm.. >.<) But now here, wow.. its nice to read.. haha.. Maybe coz it’s a language I can comprehend.. :P But the contents are really interesting too..
Now, I would say ive gotten rid of most of the nostalgia, those which but in a positive manner, reminiscing gr8 memories of the past. Partly, thanks to a quote from my sista which goes like this:-
People say with every start comes an end,
I say with every occurrence comes a bend,
Our destined brotherhood commenced against all odds not to end,
For occasional detachment or disassociation is simply a bend.
‘For occasional detachment or disassociation is simply a bend’ a phrase which enlightens me from time to time…I would say at this very moment, these phrase has indeed made a difference for my stay here.. J Thanks once again sista.. haha..
